This three-bedroom two bath condo is on the end corner of the development. There is a deck for summertime use and a wood-burning fireplace to cozy up to in the winter months. New couch and chair in the living room along with a new flat-screen TV. The condo has everything you need for a quick trip or a long stay. New mattress in the front bedroom and new pillow top on the master. Fully equipped kitchen and WiFi. St. Francis Lakeside is a lakefront development with a swimming pool, beach, pier, tennis, large indoor spa(for use during the winter), clubhouse, volleyball court, and various picnic facilities and is adjacent to the public boat launch. Easy access to bike trails and hiking. Very short drive to Tahoe City for fine dining, shopping and entertainment. The central location provides an easy drive to ski resorts like Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Homewood. *Parking is limited at this complex. This unit is located just off of Lake Forest Rd. there is a gravel parking pad in front of the unit. You do not enter either of the 2 entrances to the complex. NO BBQ

The indoor spa is open in the winter months - Closes 3/31/2024. The outdoor spa will open seasonally with the pool(Memorial Day 2024).

All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans.

"This is either our 4th or 5th stay here and we are always thrilled to return! It is very convenient and we love using the on-site amenities. The condo is nicely appointed, although a bit dated, but it is cozy and comfortable.

St. Francis Lakeside #01 - summer rental

"Pros - The property is in a great location - near Tahoe City and on a quiet street off of the highway. The unit was clean and fairly well stocked but it could use some updating. The new laundry set is very nice and worked well. This is a unit in a complex with other rentals as well as residents. It has a small water entrance area but the dock is nice to hang out at and watch activity on the lake. You are one street away from a much larger beach that you could walk to if the lake was a little lower. There is a nice cafe that is only a 10-15 minute walk away. Tahoe City is a quick drive for stores (Safeway) and shopping and dining.
Cons - This is a downstairs unit and you can hear the people in the unit upstairs walking around. The bathroom counters are low and you need to bend down to use them. The floors are squeaky, so expect some noise from that as well. There were also a lot of cobwebs on the deck area.
But for a nice place in a good location, I would recommend it.

"The cabin was once again a perfect fit for our busy family during the 4th of July holiday. The cabin was very clean, the large family room worked so well for game nights, and the private location made us all feel very comfortable. We had plenty of supplies for our family and used the new washer and dryer often. The decor is dated, but we find it comfortable and familiar. Thank you for another great stay.

"Very nice,clean fully equipped home! Great location, easy access. Quiet & comfortable. It was unusually hot for Tahoe- could have used a few bigger fans around the Condo.
The electric outlets in both bathrooms did not work. Managed for the time we were there using the bedrooms outlets.

"This was our 2nd year in cabin #1 and we loved it just as much this time around. It is well appointed, incredibly clean, and comes with easy parking & access. We were forewarned of some heating work, which was greatly appreciated as we had a very cold week and needed the heater. All appliances work well and there are plenty of dishes, towels, and bedding. The cabin is dated, but we love the plush brown carpet and homey feel of the place.

"Loved this condo and how convenient it was to get into town and also access to the lake. We will definitely be coming back. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Would love to see a King size bed if possible and an extra chair/lounger in living room. Love the outdoor space and felt very safe staying here.

Cozy Condo in a good location

"We stayed at this condo for four nights with our teen girls. The condo is adorably "retro" with burnt orange/brown carpet throughout. At first the carpet bugged me, because of its brownness - but then it grew on me. I mean, you can totally see that someone raised their precious family in this condo (on the weekends) and now are enjoying renting it to others. The kitchen is truly stocked with everything you need. We cooked the entire time (Covid) and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. The condo is spacious and cozy. We didn't use the fireplace but the heat worked really well. Our teens loved the fact that there was a brown phone (early 80s style) in the living room that actually rang once! And, I was giddy when I found a 70s style brown, orange and white afghan in the closet that had to be knit by someone's grandmother from way back. I laid with it on the couch every night and I could seriously feel the essence of my Aunt Yetta coming through the holes in the blanket. Serious bonus!

Great Ski Location

"This was a great property and met all of our expectations. It was convenient to the local slopes and the kitchen was well stocked which allowed us to cook our own meals. Wifi was spotty but that was disclosed when we booked and we were prepared. We would definitely come back again!

Wonderful experience

"Our stay at #1!was just wonderful. Literally everything you need for a stay was provided. The rental was very clean and comfortable. A 10 minute walk to the beach and 3 minute drive to the store and yet we still felt like we were very close to nature. Our rating would be 9 out of ten. The only reason we didn’t give a ten is because it turned out you needed a pool key which we didn’t have. We would definitely stay at rental #1 again. We had a wonderful experience!!!

"Convenient and easy to get to the slopes, (and the lake if it was summer) my family and I were quite happy. The place is outdated but clean and has well-stocked kitchen. Could probably stand to use at least some new sheets and bedding and new carpet but we had a great and easy stay. Hot tub wasn't filled one night but otherwise and overall good.
